조승모 교수의 가르치는 이야기

The following items are from the midterm course evaluation for "Introduction to Financial Derivatives(Spring 2014)". Please understand that some students are not as fast as you are in understanding the lecture contents. That's why I'm repeating the same contents again and again.^^ And you should also understand that some really forgot the very basic things they learned in the past. That's why we're reviewing. You will see from the midterm exam result.^^

파생금융상품의 이해(2014년 1학기, 영어)에 대한 중간평가가 나왔군요. 주관식 평가만 공개합니다. 이해가 매우 빠른 학생들도 있는 반면에 그렇지 않은 학생들도 있다는 것을 알아주기 바랍니다. 그래서 계속 같은 내용을 반복하는 거죠.^^ 그리고 아주 기초적인 것 또한 잊어버린 학생들도 분명히 있습니다. 그래서 복습을 하는 거지요. 중간고사 결과 나오면 알 수 있을 겁니다.^^

1. 교수님, 기초수학 등 이미 배웠던 내용은 그렇게 반복하지 않으셔도 될 것 같아요^^ 배우는 부분을 충분히 이해하고 넘어가는 것도 중요하지만 파생상품론의 더 많은 부분을 교수님의 설명을 통해 듣고 싶기도 해요...

2. He encourages us to participate in class. I like that. And he repeats twice his lecture so it makes me understand well what he wants to say.

3. I want you to repeat important parts of our class so that students like me can understand easily as always. You have done that as always, so thanks for doing that.

4. It is easy to understand class even though this class has to lecture by English and is important major class for me. The professor also has lots of passion for teaching to students. Thank you and please keep going the same style in this class.

5. 영어로 진행되는 수업이라 상당히 걱정을 많이 했는데 천천히 자세하게 설명을 해주셔서 처음 걱정은 기우였다는 것을 보여주신 것 같습니다. 강의가 딱딱해지지 않게 가끔 관련된 재미있는 얘기도 해주셔서 재미있게 수업 듣고 있습니다. 다만 문제가 있다면 제 영어가 문제겠죠.
